On Wednesday, October 16 at 10am PT / 1pm ET, NICE members are invited to join a presentation from global audio visual company Christie Digital and cinema technology provider Cinematronix.
This presentation will include a new group discount for NICE film exhibitors on projectors from Christie Digital: an exciting, limited-time discount only valid until March 31, 2025. The session will also cover a discussion on what’s new in cinema projection technology.
“Christie brings the magic on screen to life with its bright projection technology,” says Ben Wagner, Senior Director of Product and Program Management, and Allan Fernandes, Senior Product Manager, of Christie Digital. “We look forward to seeing NICE members on our October 16 session where we will share options and trends for illuminating your theatres. We will also provide a preferential special offer of Christie solutions to members.”
“Christie and Cinematronix are stalwart names in the world of Canadian film exhibition,” says Sonya William, director of NICE. “They have been wonderful supporters of independent cinema, and this exclusive program for NICE members is exemplary of their dedication to the sector.”
The discussion will include highlights from the latest advances in Cinema Projection Technology. Topics will include laser and laser phosphor light sources, energy efficiency improvements, advances in image processing electronics, and new Cinema HDR formats.
This group purchase program on projection booth equipment joins other discount benefits for NICE members, including building insurance from Front Row Insurance and xenon lamps from LTI.
